This Privacy Policy explains how BaZi Destiny Map (https://www.bazifortunereading.com, the "Service") collects, uses and protects your personal information. The Service is operated by Yan Minghan, an individual based in Shenzhen, China ("we", "us", "our"). We act as the controller of the personal data described below.
1. Summary
- We collect as little data as possible.
- We do not store your birth date, time or place on our servers. It is used only to calculate your chart and generate your reading. A copy of your chart is saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can reopen it on the same device; you can delete it by clearing your browser data.
- We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
- We never see or store your full card details. Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record.
2. Information we collect

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data and we ask that you do not send it to us.
3. Legal bases (for users in the EU/EEA and UK)
- Performance of a contract: providing charts, readings, your account and Lifetime Access.
- Legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention and improving the Service.
- Legal obligation: keeping purchase records as required by tax and accounting laws.
4. Service providers we share data with
We share personal data only with providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

Dodo Payments processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of users.
5. International transfers
Our server is located in the United States and the Service is operated from China. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses or equivalent terms offered by our providers.
6. How long we keep data
- Birth data: not stored on our servers. It is discarded after your request is completed. The copy saved in your browser stays on your device until you clear it.
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Purchase records: for as long as required by tax and accounting laws, typically up to 7 years.
- Server logs: up to 30 days, unless needed to investigate abuse.
- Support emails: up to 2 years.
7. Cookies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary to run the Service, such as the cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. If this changes, for example if we add analytics or advertising, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your account and data;
- receive a copy of your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email gujianqitan612@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account. We will reply within 30 days. Deleting your account ends your Lifetime Access. We may keep purchase records where the law requires us to.
9. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, access controls and regular backups to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you, as required by law.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Significant changes will be announced on the website or by email.
