About BaZi Destiny Map

BaZi Destiny Map is a modern interpretation of one of China's most sophisticated metaphysical systems. BaZi (八字), literally "Eight Characters," has been practiced for over a thousand years as a tool for self-understanding and life navigation.

Our Philosophy

We believe ancient wisdom deserves modern presentation. Our calculations honor the precision of classical Zi Ping (子平) methodology while presenting results in a way that resonates with contemporary international audiences.

BaZi is not fortune-telling. It is a map of tendencies — a framework for understanding your elemental constitution and how it interacts with the cycles of time. The ancient masters taught that "knowing your nature is the first step toward mastering it."

Technical Precision

Unlike many online BaZi calculators, we apply True Solar Time correction to every reading. This accounts for two factors that most systems ignore:

• Equation of Time: The Earth's elliptical orbit and axial tilt cause solar noon to drift up to 16 minutes from clock noon across the year.
• Longitude Correction: Standard time zones span 15° of longitude. If you were born even a few degrees from the standard meridian, your true solar time differs from your clock time.

The Five Elements

At the heart of BaZi lies the Wu Xing (五行) — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. These are not literal elements but dynamic forces that interact through generation (相生) and overcoming (相克) cycles. Your chart reveals the unique balance of these forces at your birth moment.
